It all begins with a dream and a plan. Having waited nearly 40 yrs, we have never given up on the dream

Ruth
First Mate
A 60 year old, retired Land lover. Brought up in the UK my experience of sailing came from tales of the Armada. Christopher Columbus and Captain Pugwash. So all in all not very helpful. Of course not forgetting the Dover to Calais ferry that, back in the 70’s, took unsuspecting teenagers across a very unforgiving English Channel on the obligatory school trip. Twice I experienced the joys of my head in a P&O toilet whilst being bounced around, and twice vowed that under no circumstances would I commit that mistake again. My feet were to stay on solid ground and my stomach full. Add in a couple of Catamaran holidays in the Med and one very scary trip from Coffs Harbour to Sydney. I was ready to sail around the world!!!
